\:\:\:\:\:\:\longrightarrow \sf \underline{P = 2 ( x +y)}\\

\:\:\:\:\:\:\longrightarrow \sf\underline{Perimeter_((rectangle) ) = 2 ( Length +Width)\: unit}\\

Where-

  • P = Perimeter of rectangle
  • x = Length of recatngle
  • y = Width of rectangle

As per question, we are given that -

  • Length, x = 3x-6
  • Width, y = 2x+3

We are asked to find out the value of the perimeter for the given rectangle. Now that we have all the required values, so we can put them into the formula and solve for the perimeter -

\:\:\:\:\:\:\longrightarrow \sf\underline{Perimeter_((rectangle) ) = 2 (Length +Width)\: unit}\\

\:\:\:\:\:\:\longrightarrow \sf Perimeter_((rectangle) ) = 2\bigg(3x-6+2x+3\bigg)\\

\:\:\:\:\:\:\longrightarrow \sf Perimeter_((rectangle) ) = 2 * \bigg(5x-3\bigg)\\

\:\:\:\:\:\:\longrightarrow \sf\underline{ Perimeter_((rectangle) ) = 10x-6 \:unit} \\

  • Therefore, the perimeter of the rectangle is 10x-6 unit.
