we know volume of triangular prism is A×h. i.e area of the base of prism and height of prism.

So,area of the base(A) =(1÷2)b×h

Explanation:

area of base triangle(A)=(1÷2)b×h

=(1÷2)8×7

=28

volume=A×h

= 28×14

=392
