A patient deserves the right to know whether a caregiver has AIDS or not. Since caregivers are often times handling needles, medicine, and ultimately taking care of a patient; they deserve to know whether or not their caretaker has diseases as serious as AIDS. While caregivers do reserve the right to privacy and keeping personal matters hidden, it is important to maintain the safety of their patient. In addition to the patients safety, it is a crime to not make your patient aware of your disease.
