How does the graph f(x)=6(1/8)^x+3 compare to the parent function f(x) =6(1/8)^x

Check the picture below. That's just a template for transformations

however, notice the transformed function, where "C = +3", that means a horizontal shift to the left of the parent function, by that many units.
