Answer: sqrt216

Explanation:

First, find line segment AD

6^2 + b^2 = 12^2

36 + b^2 = 144

b^2 = 108

b = sqrt108

Now, to find x

sqrt108^2 = x^2 = 18^2

108 + x^2 = 324

x^2 = 216

x = sqrt216
