Which is the equation of the line with a slope of 2/1 and a y-intercept at 5?

*

Explanation:

When looking at this problem notice how each equation has a similar setup

y = a*x + b

Okay so both "a" and "b" represent something.

a = slope and b = intercept

so which equation has a = 2/1 and b = 5?

well that answer would be y = 2x + 5

that equation has a y-intercept at 5 meaning that line crosses the y-axis at 5 and the slope of the line is up 2 and over 1 aka (rise/run).

Option 1 should be the correct answer.

I hope this helps! If you have any questions, please let me know!
