Triangle ABC is rotated 180° clockwise about the origin

and dilated by a scale factor of 4. What are the
coordinates of the resulting image if the preimage
coordinate of point A is (3,-2)?
1) (-12,-8)
2) (12,-8)
3) (8,12)
4) (-12,8)

Ok so to start we can just focus on point A as it is the only point in question. To start let’s rotate point. A by 180, as whenever you rotate a point by 180 degrees it changes (x, y) to (-x, -y). So point A becomes (-3, 2). To dilate simply multiply the x and y by the scale factor in this case four. So we end up with (-12, 8)
