First thing we need is to find how much it cost to do the length side of the fence. ( the price.) The fencing costs $15.00 per foot, so we would multiply 19.50 by 15.0

So:

19.5 x 15.0=292.5

Now, we don’t know the total of the fencing for the yard yet, so let’s just call that x.
The equation to solving a problem like this is

P=2( length + width)

So, our equation would be;

945=2 ( 292.5 + w )

Solve:

W=180

The width costs $180.
Now, we have to divide by 15.0.

180 divided by 15=12.



The width is 12 feet!
