Since it’s a square pyramid, all the sides or triangle have the same lengths. So, to find the area of a triangle, we use the formula 1/2xbxh. For the square, area formula is bxh.

Explanation:
Substitute the given lengths into the formula
1. Area of triangle
1/2 x 3 x 4
6 ft^2

2. Area of square
3 x 3
9 ft^2

3. Total surface area
Since there are four triangles in a pyramid, we multiply 4 to the triangle’s area which is 6.
(4 x 6) + 9
33 ft^2

I forgot how to find the side length of a triangle, but I'm guess here that it's 5. 4*3=12*4=48+9=57

But you should really check this with someone else
