Not an academic question, just pure curiosity. If continents were to merge again into Pangea or another supercontinent-type landmass overnight, (without the earthquakes, etc) how would that affect the world?

If continents reformed weather and water would change drastically and the earths spin on its axis would most likely change with it due to the large land mass that is on earth in one giant super continent. Life would be destroyed because of the amount of volcanic activity due to all of the continents reforming. Most volcanoes would erupt suddenly without us even knowing. The Atlantic Ocean will also close up and the ocean will drastically decrease due to all of the continents crushing together. Some countries like Australia and India would be cold due to it being connected to Antarctica when Pangea was formed. Mountains will most likely be destroyed because the reasons mountains exist today is because Pangea broke apart.
