Mr. Jones wants to take his scout troop to Neon Nights roller 'rink. The employee he

spoke with ahead of time said the total cost for all 13 people in the group would be
$195. This price includes an entrance fee as well as the $5 fee for the skate rental for
each person.
Which equation can you use to find x, the cost of each ticket?
13x + 5 = 195
5 (x+13) = 195
13 (x + 5) = 195
5x + 13 = 195

Answer:

Explanation:

Cost for 1 person is ticket cost(x) plus skate rental = $(x+5).

Cost for 13 people = $13(x+5).

But we know the total cost was $195. So

13(x+5) = 195
