16. Jerry hit a hockey puck to his teammate. The height of the puck in meters, h(t), can be represented by h(t) = -5t^2+11t, where t is the time in seconds. How much time has passed when the puck is 6m in the air?

Answer:

t = 1.2 s

Solution:

-5t^2+11t = 6

move 6 to left side and calculate {t} with formula.

t = -10 and 1.2 but time can't be negative so we leave only the positive t for the answer.
