What is the distance between (-9, -6) and (6, 14)​

Distance: 25

Steps:

Distance (d) = √(6 - -9)2 + (14 - -6)2

= √(15)2 + (20)2

= √625

= 25

Slope and Angle:

ΔX = 6 – -9 = 15

ΔY = 14 – -6 = 20

Slope (m) = ΔY/ΔX = 4/3 = 1.3333333333333

θ = arctan( ΔY/ΔX) = 53.130102354156°

Equation of the line:

y = 1.3333333333333x + 6

or

y = 4/3x + 6

When x=0, y = 6

When y=0, x = -4.5
