How many four digit numbers can you make by arranging the

numbers 3, 6, 9, and 4?

it’s permutations and combinations and i got 24 as my answer but don’t know if it’s right.

Answer:

256

Explanation:

In every digit you can put all of the 4 given numbers, since it hasn't been said, that the numbers' digits must not be the same

So, since there's four digits and 4 choices for each digit, we multiply everything:

4 × 4 × 4 × 4 = 256

I don't know if I got it right, though...

It’s totally right
In case of permutations it should be without replacement to be 24
