Ratios are like fractions. For example, a:b is the same as a/b.

So, in this case, 16g:72g = 16g/72g. Then, we can simplify it by dividing both the numerator and denominator by 8. We’ll get the answer 2g/9g.

Hope this helps :)

Answer:

2:9

Explanation:

The ratio 16g:72g can be simplified by dividing both the numerator and denominator by the greatest common factor, which is 8.

So,

16g ÷ 8 = 2g

72g ÷ 8 = 9g

The simplified ratio is 2g:9g.

And, by dividing both terms of the ratio by the same factor, the ratio can also be written as 2/9.
