7 wholes and 3/8 times 1 whole and 1/2

First you would expand the fraction to an improper fraction so the 7 wholes and 3/8 would become 59/8 and the 1 whole and 1/2 would become 3/2. Then you would multiply the second fraction to get the same denominator for both so you would do 2 x 4 to get 8 and u would x the 3 by 4 as well to get 12/8. Then you would times them together together. So you would times the numerators together and the denominators together. You would get 177/16 which in a mixed fraction is 11 1/16
