Answer is A. 240
P(A or B) = P(A) + P(B)
P(A) = people who take public transport
- which is 17%
P(B) = people who bike to work
- which is 13
P(A or B) = 17 + 13 = 30
30% of 800 is 240
30/100 x 800 - reduce common factors
30 x 8
= 240
