Let's denote the cost price of the watch by C.

If the marked price is Rs. 1600 and the discount is 10%, then the selling price of the watch is:

1600 - (10/100)*1600 = 1600 - 160 = 1440

We know that the profit is Rs. 80. Profit is calculated as the difference between the selling price and the cost price, so:

Selling Price - Cost Price = Profit
1440 - C = 80
C = 1440 - 80
C = 1360

Therefore, the cost price of the watch is Rs. 1360.
