Answer:

$35.89

Explanation:

x= belt

y= shirt

x+y= 78.10

x= y-6.32

in the first equation, replace x with y-6.32

(y-6.32)+y= 78.10

x= y-6.32

2y= 78.10+6.32

x= y-6.32

2y= 84.42

x= y-6.32

y= 42.21

x= (42.21)-6.32

y= 42.21

x= 35.89

I hope it's right :)
