Opposite angles are equal, like 1 and 4 would be the same. Angles next to each other along the line would be a and 180-a, so if 2 was 35˚, 1 would be 145˚. This is the same along a parallel line, so 7 and 3 would be the same for example, and 7 and 1 would sum to 180.
