Answer:

P(C)=(3)/(9)

Explanation:

Ω - is the number of all possible events.

|Ω|=9=|Omega|

A - the event that the drawn card numbered is by an even number.

A={2,4,6,8}

|A|=4

P(A) - probability of event A.

P(A)=(|A|)/(|Omega|) =(4)/(9)

B - the event that the drawn card is numbered by a number less than 7

B={1,2,3,4,5,6}

|B|=6

P(B) - probability of event B.

P(B)=(|B|)/(|Omega|) =(6)/(9)

C- the event that the drawn card numbered is by an even number and

the drawn card is numbered by a number less than 7.

A={2,4,6,8} B={1,2,3,4,5,6}

C={2,4,6} C=A∩B

|C|=3

P(C) - probability of event C.

P(C)=(|C|)/(|Omega|) =(3)/(9)
