Answer:

Explanation:

Each triangular piece of cloth used to make the umbrella has a base of 25 cm and a height of 110 cm. Therefore, the area of each triangular piece of cloth is:

(1/2) x base x height = (1/2) x 25 cm x 110 cm = 1375 cm²

Since each umbrella is made up of 8 such triangular pieces of cloth, the total area of cloth required to make one umbrella is:

8 x 1375 cm² = 11000 cm²

To make two umbrellas, we need twice the amount of cloth:

2 x 11000 cm² = 22000 cm²

The total cost of the cloth for both umbrellas at the rate of Rs. 2.5 per cm² is:

22000 cm² x Rs. 2.5/cm² = Rs. 55,000

Therefore, the total cost of cloth required to make two umbrellas at the given rate is Rs. 55,000.
