DIFF; Eukaryotes do have a nucleus, while prokaryotes do not. Instead their genetic material is made up of plasmid rings and a string of DNA. Thus, meaning their transcription and translation processes are slightly different due to the presence/absence of the nucleus. Eukaryotic processes occur in the nucleus while the prokaryotic processes occur in the cytoplasm of the cell.
SIM; Both prokaryotes and eukaryotes transcript DNA into RNA by replacing Thymine with Uracil which is then translated into proteins.
