Answer:

0

Explanation:

Normally, I would use the slope formula, Δy/Δx, to find slope; however, there's a quicker and easier way to find the slope in these two problems. For the first two points, (-9, 2) and (9, 2), the y-value is 2! It appears there is no change in y for a change in x; therefore, the slope is 0. On a graph, a line with a slope of 0 is horizontal.

Similarly for the second pair of points, both of them have a y-value of -8; no matter what x-value is inputted, a y-value of -8 will be the result. So, again, there is no change in y for a change in x and the slope is 0.

Hopefully, that's helpful - if you'd like me to show how to use the slope formula or explain a little further, I can do that, too. :)
