200kg of sand
600kg of gravel
800kg of cement
The ratio of sand, gravel and cement = 1:3:4
Sum total of all ratios = 1+3+4 = 8
Therefore out of a total of 1600 kg we need, 1/8 sand, 3/8 gravel and 4/8 cement
So, Sand = 1600*1/8 = 200 kg
Gravel = 1600*3/8 = 600 kg
Cement = 1600*4/8 = 800 kg
Hence, we need 200 kg sand, 600 kg gravel and 800 kg cement
Hope this helps!
