In my history class my teacher wanted us to put the events in order from oldest to newest I've done it but I'm not sure if I did it correctly. If you could check it that would be spectacular!

1. Paris Peace Agreement

2. Ronald Reagan becomes president in November

3. Kennedy becomes president

4. Bay of Pigs invasion

5. Washington-Moscow 'hotline' set up

6. Lyndon B Johnson becomes president

7. Leonid Brezhnev Secretary in USSR (Khrushchev removed)

8. Tet offensive

9. Invasion of Czechoslovakia

10. Policy of vietnamisation

11. The Nuclear Non-Proliferation

12. Salt 1 agreed in May

13. The Basic Treaty is signed in December

14. Nixon resigns replaced by G Ford 

15. USSR invades Afghanistan.

16. Salt 2 agreed but not ratified

17. The Carter Doctrine in January​

4. lyndon b johnson becomes president (november 22, 1963)

5. leonid brezhnev secretary in ussr, khrushchev removed (october 14, 1964)

6. tet offensive (january 31, 1968)

7. nuclear non-proliferation (signed july 1, 1968)

8. invasion of czechoslovakia (august 20, 1968)

9. policy of vietnamisation (january 28, 1969)

10. salt 1 agreed in may (1969)

11. basic treaty signed in december (1972)

12. paris peace agreement (january 27, 1973)

13. nixon resigns, replaced by g ford (august 8, 1974)

14. salt 2 agreed but not ratified (june 17, 1979)
