Additionally, the author's use of metaphors and similes, such as describing the expressions of the Grand Steward as "a carved wooden mask," adds depth to the characters and their personalities.

The idea of the "Faces" in Caverna reminds me of the concept of social masks in our own world. People often put on a façade to present themselves in a certain way to others, and it can be difficult to know someone's true intentions or feelings. In "A Face Like Glass," the characters' Faces are literally crafted and shaped to reflect their emotions and personalities, adding a unique and intriguing element to the story.

One instance of foreshadowing in the book is when the main character, Neverfell, discovers a secret passageway behind a tapestry. This suggests that there may be more hidden secrets and mysteries to uncover within the world of Caverna, and leaves the reader eager to find out more.
