Question :

A lightbulb need 300 J to stay on for 5 Seconds. How much power was needed to keep the lightbulb on for this amount of time?

Answer :

We know that,

\: { \boxed{ \sf{Power = (Work)/(time)}}}

Where,

  • Work = 300 J
  • time = 5 seconds

\longrightarrow \sf (300)/(5) \\ \\ \longrightarrow \sf60 \: watts \\ \\

Therefore, 60 watts power is needed to keep the lightbulb on.
