Answer:

B

Explanation:

remember : the sum of all angles in a triangle is always 180°.

are you sure the third angle is called ZZ ?

I am rather sure it would be called XY !

so,

180 = ZX + ZY + XY = 30 + 20 + 2a

130 = 2a

a = 130/2 = 65°

Solution :

According to the question, we are given a triangle XYZ

where,

  • ∠X = 30°
  • ∠Y = 20°
  • ∠Z = 2a°

Angle sum property states that sum of all the angles of triangle is 180°. So by adding all the three angles we will get the required value of a.

∠X + ∠Y + ∠Z = 180°

30° + 20° + 2a° = 180°

50° + 2a° = 180°

2a° = 180° - 50°

2a° = 130°

a° = 130/2

a° = 65°

Therefore, required value of a is 65°
