Explanation:

Mean = Population / Number of Integers.

Mean = 7.

Subtract the integers from the mean.

5 - 7 = -2

6 - 7 = -1

10 - 7 = 3.

Put differences in absolute value.

|-2| = 2

|-1| = 1

|3| = 3.

add the differences then divide by the population number.

2 + 1 + 3 = 6

6 / 3
