The number of miles that Arianna can travel on one gallon of gas more than Bo is 5.4 miles

How much further can Arianna travel on one gallon of gas more than Bo?

Bo:

Distance = 41.4 miles

Gas = 2 gallons

Unit rate = 41.4 miles / 2 gallons

= 20.7 miles per gallon

Arianna:

Distance = 104.4 miles

Gas = 4 gallons

Unit rate = 104.4 miles / 4 gallons

= 26.1 miles per gallon

Hence,

Distance more Arianna can travel than Bo = 26.1 - 20.7

= 5.4 miles
