2x + 5y = 6

Explanation:

The equation of a line parallel to 2x + 5y = 30 has exactly the same form as does 2x + 5y = 30, but the constant is different. Starting with 2x + 5y = 30, replace the constant (30) with C, x with 3 and y with 0:

2(3) + 0 = C, so C = 6

Then the desired equation is 2x + 5y = 6
