When calculating slopes, and your x1 and x2 are both negatives and your Y1 and Y2 are both positives what will be the outcome?

Result could be pos or neg

example ( all have y's positive and x's negative)

(5 - 6 )/ ( -4 - -5) = -1/1 = -1

(5 - 3 ) / ( -4 - -2) = 2 / -2 = -1

( 5-3)/ ( -4 - -5) = 2 / 1 = 2
