Explanation -:

Given:

  • length = 15 mm
  • width = 3 mm
  • height = 4 mm

Need to find :

  • Surface area

Formula :

\star\boxed{ \small\sf Surface \: area = 2(lw + wh + lh)}

Solution :

Surface area = 2(15×3 + 3×4 + 15×4)

→ 2(45 + 12 + 60)

Answer:

234 square mm

Explanation:

Surface area of rectangular prism:

l = 15 mm

w = 3 mm

h = 4 mm

\boxed{\text{\bfSurface area of rectangular prism = 2*(lw + wh + hl)}}

= 2* [ 15*3 + 3*4 + 4*15 ]

= 2* [45+ 12 + 60]

= 2 * 117

= 234 square mm
