Five pairs of shoes = 5(4x² - 9) = 20x² - 45.

Four bags = 4(2x² - 3x + 5) = 8x² - 12x + 20

-> Total cost = 20x² - 45 + 8x² - 12x + 20 = 28x² - 12x - 25.
