Answer:

The median is the middle number in a set of given numbers.

In this case, the numbers range from 70 to 115

To find the median we must do the following:
115-70 = 45cm

45cm x 2 = 90cm

Median Waist Measurement = 90cm

IQR (Interquartile Range):

The IQR is the spread of the middle half of the data.

If the middle is 90cm, then halfway on either side is the IQR

90-70 = 20 gap between lower IQR and middle

halfway is 10

Lower IQR = 80cm

Same applies for higher IQR:
115-90 = 25

halfway is middle + 12.5

90+12.5 = 102.5

Interquartile Range is

80cm to 102.5cm
