Answer:
W= 18
L= 5

Step-by-step explanation:

let width = x cm

so length = x - 13 cm

According to question ,

Area = length × breadth

90 = x( x-13)

90= x^2 - 13 x

x^2 -13x - 90 =0

x^2 -18x + 5x -90 =0

x(x-18) + 5(x- 18)= 0

(x-18)(x+5)= 0

take x - 18 = 0

so x = 18

take x+5 = 0

that gives x= -5 ( not possible)

so width = 18 cm

and length = 18- 13 = 5 cm.
