What is the answer to this question? 12/5t=6

First, the equation is (12/5)*t = 6, right?

If it is….

t = 30/12 or 15/6 (simplified)

Steps…

((12/5)*t) * 5 = 6 * 5 -> multiplied both sides by 5 to get rid of denominator
12t = 30
12t/12 = 30/12 -> divided both sides by 12 to single out the t
t = 30/12 or 15/6
