There are integers that are not rational numbers

Integers are the numbers ...,-2,-1,0,1,2,...

Rational numbers are numbers that can be written as p/q where p and q are integers and q is not 0.

Given any integer x, you can write it in the form p/q where p=x and q=1. Therefore, there is no such integer than isn't rational.
