Answer: Its asking you if you would tell a child, specifically your child self, who doesn't know anything yet and can't help but make mistakes because they are learning that they are awful for the same reason. You wouldn't really say that to a child seeing as they don't know much yet (and you currently still don't know much) and would instead say for them to keep trying until they get things right or to be strong. Its acknowledging that we are humans who are still learning just as we did as children and that doesn't mean you are worthless.
