For the first row, x is 2

x^2 is 4,

and x^3 is 8

For the bottom row, x is 6,

x^2 is 36,

and x^3 is 216.

Explanation:

For the first row, they already stated that x^2 = 4.

So, to find x, you have to take the square root of x^2=4 on both sides. Square root of x^2= x and square root of 4 = 2. Therefore, x=2.

Now that we know x is 2, it's much easier to find x^3.

Just substitute 2 for x and plug into the calculator.

2^3 =8

For the second row, it's pretty much the same process. They already stated that x is 6. So you just substitute 6 fo x. So x^2 will be 6^2, which is equal to 36, and 6^3 is equal to 216.
