Statement (b) is not true. The National Assembly did not take away the property rights of the Second Estate (nobility). However, they did take away many of their privileges, including exemption from taxes and exclusive hunting rights, as stated in statements (a) and (d). Additionally, the National Assembly abolished feudalism, which had given the nobles extensive power over their estates and the people who lived on them.
