Answer:

Alternate ending for the story of "The Little Red Riding Hood":

Little Red Riding Hood was on her way to visit her grandmother when she met a wolf in the woods. The wolf told her that he was going to eat her, but she tricked him and escaped. She then went to her grandmother's house, but the wolf had already eaten her and taken her place. Little Red Riding Hood sat down in the bed and the wolf came in. The wolf noticed that Little Red Riding Hood was not wearing her hood and he asked her where it was. Little Red Riding Hood told him that she had lost it in the woods. The wolf then realized that Little Red Riding Hood was not the real grandmother and he ran away. Little Red Riding Hood went to the woods and found her hood. She put it on and went home.

The next day, Little Red Riding Hood went back to her grandmother's house. She knocked on the door and her grandmother opened it. Little Red Riding Hood hugged her grandmother and told her all about her adventure. Her grandmother was so happy to see her and she told her that she was a very brave girl.

The wolf never came back to the grandmother's house and Little Red Riding Hood and her grandmother lived happily ever after.

In this alternate ending, Little Red Riding Hood is able to outsmart the wolf and save her grandmother. She is also able to find her way back home safely. This ending is more satisfying for the reader because it shows that Little Red Riding Hood is a brave and resourceful girl who is able to overcome obstacles.
