in this question u need to find the value of x .

3x² - 5x - 7 = 0

=> a=3, b=(-3), c=(-7)

the formula is :

(-b ± root of (b² - 4ac)) / 2a

= 3 ± root of ((-3)² - 4 × 3 × (-7)) / (2 × 3)

= 3 ± root of ( 9 + 84 ) / 6

= 3 ± root of 93 / 6

so, there are two values of x

1. 3 + root of 93 / 6

2. 3 - root of 93 / 6
