Answer is d. 2x -4 (7 - 3x) = 1
Step-by-step explanation
First change equation 1 so “y” is on one side
3x + y = 7
Subtract 3x from both sides
y = 7 - 3x
Then substitute value of “y” into equation 2
2x - 4 (7 - 3x) = 1
This is the same as answer d.
