Formula to find out slop, we have to calculate the change in the y values over the change in the x values. That is -

\small \underline{ \boxed{ \sf{ \pmb{ Slop = (y_2-y_1 )/(x_2-x_1 )}}}}\\

As per question, points are -

  • A(2,2)

  • B(-1,-4)

On substituting the values -

\: \: \: \:\: \: \: \: \longrightarrow \sf {Slop = (-4-2)/(-1-2)}\\

\: \: \: \:\: \: \: \: \longrightarrow \sf {Slop = (-6)/(-3)}\\

\: \: \: \:\: \: \: \: \longrightarrow \sf {Slop = \cancel{(-6)/(-3)}}\\

\: \: \: \:\: \: \: \: \longrightarrow \boxed{ \tt{ \pmb{ \red{Slope = 2}}}}\\

\\ \therefore \underline{ \cal{ \pmb{The \:Answer \: is \: \frak{\purple{ 2 }. }}}}\\
