How to find the slope and y intercept from two coordinate pairs

Answer:

Slope: y2-y1/x2-x1

Explanation:

You find slope from two coordinate pairs by using the slope formula(y2-y1/x2-x1) or rise over run from a graph.

To find y-intercept, x needs to be 0 on a graph.

Hope this helps!

first use the slope formula to form the slope
m = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)
and then find the y intercept by (0,b)
then plug m and b into
y=mx+b
