CAN ONE OF YALL HELP ME WITH THIS?

Here is a picture of a key, to find the area we can divide it into simpler shapes first, then find the area of each simpler shape and add them together.

The simpler shapes are a square (green) and a rectangle (purple).

Explanation:

Area = square area + rectangle area

= 3 x 3 + 1 x 5 = 9 + 5 = 14 cm^2
