Natural resources: Indigenous peoples had extensive knowledge of the natural resources in their lands, including metals, timber, and oils. Europeans often exploited these resources for their own purposes, leading to significant economic growth for Europe.
Medical knowledge: Indigenous peoples had knowledge of medicinal plants and other natural remedies that were unknown to Europeans. This knowledge was eventually shared with Europeans, leading to new treatments for illnesses and the development of the pharmaceutical industry.
