If x²+ 5/4x = 3/2, x²+ 5/4x - 3/2 = 0

Multiply by 4 to get 4x²+ 5x - 6 = 0

Factor it to get (4x - 3)(x + 2) = 0

anything times 0 = 0, so x = 3/4 and -2
